APRIL

April 20-21: Spores n’ More Mushroom Festival, Sullivan. Morel Mushroom hunting contest. Crafts, food, games, fun for Everyone!

April 23rd-26th: 17th Annual Arthur Quilt Show. Quilt enthusiasts enjoy this competitive event for a chance to win local business gift certificates. You won't want to miss this show's outstanding quality of quilts. Quilt history is attached to each quilt, so plan extra time to read the interesting stories that make each quilt special. 120 E. Progress Street. Downtown, Arthur.

MAY

May 17th: Downtown Arthur Market; - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; crafts & antiques. Location: Gazebo Annex building, downtown Arthur.

JUNE

June 6th-7th: Arthur Days. Arthur's first street fair of the season. You will find bargains for the whole family at the merchants old fashioned sidewalk sales, crafts booths and a flea market. Antique Tractor Show. Craft & flea vendors and food booths fill the downtown from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Location: downtown Arthur.

June 13th, 14th &15th: The 19th Original Raggedy Ann & Andy®™ Festival in Arcola, Illinois. For information on this event check out the website at http://www.arcolachamber.com/.

JULY

July 4: Independence Day Celebration, Sullivan

July 4-6: 4th Festivities, Call 217-253-6240 for more information, Tuscola.

July 6th thru 12th: 78th Annual Moultrie-Douglas County Fair. Call for specific dates & times of events. Location: Jurgens Park, south edge of Arthur.

AUGUST

August 15 & 16: Apple Dumpling Festival. Downtown Atwood.  http://www.atwoodil.com 

August 30th, 31st, & September 1st: 36th Annual Arthur Cheese Festival. Three fun-filled days with lots to do for the whole family. Location: downtown Arthur.

SEPTEMBER

September 5th, 6th, & 7th. Arcola Broom Corn Festival.

September 15th - October 31st: Come celebrate the harvest with us at The Great Pumpkin Patch. Open daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Location: 2 miles south & 1/2 mile west of Arthur.

September 19-21: Touchstone Energy Hydro-Fest NBRA National Hydroplane Boat Races at Wilborn Creek Access Area, Bethany.

OCTOBER

October: 5th Annual SCED Chili Cook-off, Sullivan.

October 10th & 11th: "Central Illinois Braggin' Rights KCBS BBQ. Location: downtown Arthur.

NOVEMBER

November 22nd: Lighted Christmas Parade and Kickoff for Christmas Season. Location: downtown Arthur.

DECEMBER

December 5-7 - Tuscola Christmastown.  Call 217-253-5013 for more information.
